An event every week that begins at 6:30pm on Wednesday, repeating until May 9, 2018
Community Kids begins on Wednesday, September 13. This year, we’re working through The New City Catechism. We invite parents and children to come out on September 13 as we introduce the curriculum and how we’ll use it. The entirety of this catechism is available free through a web app and mobile apps. Hardcopies can also be purchased. There are also songs available through the website and app to help younger kids with memorization. Note: We’ll provide a more simple version for pre-k kids.

What is catechism?
Catechisms are a summary of the principles of the Christian religion in the form of questions and answers. Catechisms such as the Heidelberg Catechism of 1563 and Westminster Shorter and Larger catechisms of 1648 have served as statements of faith, designed to be memorized by the church as a whole. With adults and children alike, the question and answer format helps develop a deep theological framework.
