Division has gripped the world over the last two years. The divisive nature of COVID-19 continues and the church is not exempt. The arguments over masks, social distancing, civil disobedience, and vaccines are happening in the church and are oftentimes handled poorly. Differences of preference and strong differences of opinion are normal, but what does the Bible have to say about how we are to navigate these differences? Over the next ten weeks, we’ll be working through the doctrine of Christian liberty and how it directly applies to what we’re experiencing with COVID-19. We want to look at the present difficulties and learn how to better love one another through them, building the church up rather than tearing it down.
