Community Students
WE CARE TO KNOW AND LOVE YOU
The Student Ministries of CBC exists to teach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to grow students into faithful disciples. Through building relationships and teaching the Bible, we care to know and love students. Our mission is for all students to come to saving faith in Jesus Christ, be trained in righteousness, grow in holiness, and know they are loved, then send them into the world to be ambassadors for Christ.
Five Pillars of Student Ministry
Discipleship
Students will be led by Christ-centered leaders through biblical teaching and counsel, and see the world through a biblical lens
Evangelism
Students will be sent to share and live the gospel in their homes, schools, and world as ambassadors for Christ and His kingdom
Community
All students will be a part of a community of love, grace, and truth that will care for their spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical well-being
Service
Students will serve their peers, families, the church, and the local community through multiple avenues

Radically Different
This fall we will be working through the book Radically Different by Champ Thornton together.
Book description:
"By examining life through the biblical lenses of Creation, Fall, and Redemption, readers can explore how God s Word untangles the twists of life.
There are so many areas of life to navigate when growing up, and this practical resource full of biblical wisdom helps middle and high school students find encouragement in the everyday challenges of life.
God made everything, including relationships, to be good. But because of the fall, everything including relationships with parents, friends, and siblings are also broken. Christ came to make all things new, and because of this biblical perspective, readers of Radically Different can know with clarity they are set apart as unique.
Thornton invites teenagers to consider how they are set apart especially in a time when Christianity is more and more culturally marginalized. He guides them to embrace what it means to live Christianly in a morally murky and increasingly hostile world."
